Bookings:
All bookings must be made by a member of the party occupying the property and must be 21 years old or over and be authorized to agree the terms and conditions on behalf of all the persons included on the booking form.
Booking Deposit:
A non-refundable booking deposit of $150.00 (USD) per week/part week is required with your completed booking form within seven (7) days of your booking acknowledgement. The booking will be confirmed to you within seven (7) days of receipt of your deposit. Once the booking is confirmed, the
deposit will be non-refundable but will be deducted from the full amount due.
Security Deposit:
Upon payment of the outstanding balance, the client shall be required to pay a refundable security/breakage deposit of $300.00 per stay. The deposit is payable to cover any breakage or damage to the property or its contents, return of key and for any excessive cleaning cost above that normally required in connection with the occupancy. The deposit will be refunded to the client as soon as possible and no later than ten (10) days after the client has departed the property, less cost of any breakage or damaged caused during the period of rental in accordance with the managers report.
Balance:
- The balance is due six (6) weeks prior to arrival.
- Booking made less than six (6) weeks prior to arrival are payable in full at time of booking.
- If full payment is not received six (6) weeks prior to arrival, the right is reserved to consider the booking cancelled. In that event, the scale of cancellation charges will be applied.
- Full details and key collection will be sent to you after final payment has been received.
Cancellation:
Client may cancel the booking at anytime after it has been confirmed.
All cancellations must be in writing.
In the event of a cancellation the following charges will apply:
- More than six (6) weeks prior to arrival: Deposit
- 4 to 6 weeks prior to arrival: 50% of rental charge
- Less than four (4) weeks prior to arrival: 100% of rental charge
Arrival/Departure:
Guest may gain access to the property after 4:00 pm (local time) on day of arrival and property must be vacated by 10:00 am (local time) on day of departure, unless otherwise arranged and agreed.
The property will be cleaned prior to your arrival and again after your departure.
Pool/Spa Heating:
Pool/Spa heating is recommended between October to April. If pool/spa heating is required, this must be requested at the time of booking. There is an additional charge and must be paid for with the final balance.
In adverse weather conditions the pool/spa heating may not always be fully functional. In the event of severe weather, where the air temperature drops below 55 degrees F (15 degress C) guest may find that the pool/spa water temperature drops to an uncomfortable level. However, this is extremely rare and is beyond our control. Should this happen regretfully, we are unable to accept any request for compensation.
Pool/Spa:
Guest using the pool/spa or its surrounding areas do so at their own risk. Children are required to be supervised at all times when using the pool/spa or on the pool deck area. The property owners or management company will accept no responsibility for any loss or personal injury incurred from using the pool/spa or its surrounding areas.
Pool/Spa Safety:
- An adult must supervise children in the pool area at all times.
- No glasses or breakable items allowed around the pool/spa, unbreakable items are provided.
- Should it be necessary to drain the pool/spa this will be charged to the client.
Force Majeure:
The property owners or management company cannot be held responsible for or liable in respect of loss, damage or changes caused by force majeure such as strikes, floods, closure of airports, war, riots, weather conditions or other events beyond our control.
Liability:
You are advised that you are occupying a private villa and therefore are responsible for your own safety in respect of any loss, personal accidents or damages sustained by you or any member of your party during your stay. It is the guest responsibility to ensure that they have adequate holiday insurance to cover personal injury, accidents or damage. No claims whatsoever will be accepted by the owners or management company of the property.
The owners or management company accept no liability for loss of main services or failure of appliances or of any actions taken in the vicinity of the property by any authority or third party persons bond their control.
Occupancy:
The persons named on the booking form may only occupy the accommodations, any deviation without permission could result in eviction from the property.
This villa can accommodate a maximum of 10 guest.
Access/Maintenance:
The client is to allow for the owners or agents of the management company to enter the premises without notice in order to perform routine maintenance or repairs .
It's not always possible to arrange for somebody to immediately repair or replace broken/damaged equipment and other items. Although the utmost will be done to ensure the necessary work is carried out as quickly as possible.
Inventory Items:
- No inventory items will be removed from the house including towels and linens.
- Guest should check the property and report any damage or missing items to the management company within 24 hours. Any breakages or damage must be reported to the management company immediately.
Smoking and Pets:
This is a non-smoking villa but for those who do smoke, smoking is allowed outside by pool area. Pets would be considered for a small fee ($100.00 USD per stay) and a pet security deposit.
Insurance:
Guest are strongly recommended to take out adequate holiday insurance to cover any cancellation, accidents, illness or damage.
Complaints:
We sincerely hope you do not have any!!! But in the unlikely event that you wish to register a complaint during your stay, contact the management company immediately and follow this up with a letter. Give a copy to them and send us a copy upon your return home.
